Commercial Executive (Contracts & Tendering), $4,000 - $5,000

Location: East Singapore Industry: Marine / Construction / Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: SGD 4,000 –SGD 5,000 Working Hours • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM • Alternate Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Role Overview Our client, a reputable and established organisation in the marine and engineering industry, is seeking a Commercial Executive to support its commercial and tendering functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate cost estimation, contract compliance, and smooth coordination across departments to support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and manage tender submissions, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements. • Support contract administration, including handling RFQs, quotations, and procurement documentation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. • Participate in regular commercial and project meetings. • Maintain and update commercial records, databases, and ERP systems. • Prepare handover documentation for awarded projects. • Review purchase orders and workorders in coordination with internal teams. • Source, evaluate, and recommend subcontractors with support from operations. • Assist in managing variation orders and cost adjustments during project execution. • Support project teams with service reports and commercial documentation. • Handle commercial issues and assist in negotiations where necessary. • Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Commercial Manager. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline. • 2–4 years of relevant experience in commercial, contracts, tendering, or quantity surveying roles. • Experience in the construction, marine, oil & gas, or engineering sectors is preferred. • Familiarity with RFQs, tenders, subcontractor management, and procurement processes.
