We are looking for team members from all walks of life to come as they are, and help us build a space where everyone belongs. The RoleThis is not your typical noisy, high-energy co-working space. A Space Between is a sanctuary. As our Community Manager, you are the guardian of this atmosphere. You will be the first point of contact for our members (therapists) and their clients. Your primary goal is to ensure the space runs seamlessly, quietly, and beautifully. You will manage daily operations, handle administrative tasks, and provide a warm, deeply respectful front-of-house experience. What You Will Do (Responsibilities)• Member Experience: Warmly welcome therapists and their clients. Navigate interactions with high emotional intelligence, understanding that clients may be feeling vulnerable or anxious. • Space Management: Take ownership of the physical environment. This includes opening and closing the space, resetting therapy rooms to our exact standards, and ensuring the pantry is fully stocked and tidy. • Social Media Support: Capture the essence of ASB by managing day-to-day Instagram Stories and occasionally hosting or assisting with Instagram Live sessions (e.g., Q&As, space tours, or event coverage), always ensuring member privacy is strictly maintained. • Administrative Support: Handle day-to-day operations such as replying to member emails, managing room bookings, and addressing basic billing or scheduling queries. • Independent Operations: Confidently manage the space solo during your shifts, troubleshooting minor issues (e.g., Wi-Fi queries, air-con adjustments) as they arise. Who We Are Looking For• The "Quiet" Professional: You understand the difference between being welcoming and being overbearing. You respect strict privacy, confidentiality, and the need for hushed voices. • Socially Savvy but Sensitive: You are comfortable being on camera for IG Live and have a good eye for capturing aesthetic, calming Instagram Stories, but you know how to do so without disrupting the physical space or violating privacy. • Highly Independent: You do not need to be micromanaged. If you see a messy room, you reset it. If an email comes in, you answer it. • Detail-Oriented: You notice the little things—a misaligned chair, an empty coffee jar, or a member who needs a glass of water. • Flexible & Reliable: You are punctual (our therapists rely on the space being open on time) and are open to rotational weekend shifts. • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or clinic administration is highly valued, but a genuinely empathetic and proactive attitude matters most. The Engagement Structure (Important)Please note that to accommodate flexible scheduling, this role is structured as a Freelance Engagement (Contract for Service). • You will be paid an all-inclusive hourly service fee / OR a flat monthly fee. • As a freelance contractor, there are no employer CPF contributions or standard employee benefits (like paid annual leave). • You will track your hours via our internal app and invoice us monthly.
