Job Description · Leads team of QS for tenders and projects · Preparation of construction contracts and negotiate revisions, change and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors · Site verifications of variation and taking records for submission of claim · Preparation of contracts · Preparation of final accounts · Monitors the cost on all phases of planning and construction with the parties concerned · Work closely with PM in preparing monthly updated project progress and costing · Working experience in main contractor firm is an advantage · To resolve problems encountered by QS / project team, including dealing with client/ sub-contractors on cost and contractual matters · Any other duties that assigned by a superior. Job Requirements · Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent · Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry · Preferred to have an LTA/rail projects background · Proven track record of successfully negotiating, drafting and administering a diverse range of construction contracts · Excellent knowledge of construction law, contract management principles and risk mitigation strategies · Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues
