Job OverviewA government agency is seeking a motivated individual with a keen interest in content creation, brand marketing and communications operations to join its Corporate Communications team on a 6-month contract. The role supports strategic communications, public education and branding initiatives through the development of engaging content and campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that raise public awareness, strengthen stakeholder engagement and profile the agency's work and impact. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating, experimenting and collaborating – from shaping campaign ideas to producing content and supporting communications efforts across multiple channels. The candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, marketing agencies and external partners to deliver impactful communications initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Campaign Management• Support the ideation, development and execution of branding and marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. • Coordinate with marketing agencies and vendors to support campaign execution across online and offline channels. • Assist in ensuring consistency of branding and messaging across communications materials. Content Development & Marketing• Support content planning and development across various communication channels and audience segments. • Create engaging content including short-form videos, human-interest stories, explainer content, editorial articles and event coverage. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to profile key initiatives and drive public awareness campaigns. • Coordinate with content creators, partners and other stakeholders for campaign collaborations and outreach efforts. Measurement & Optimisation• Support the monitoring and reporting of campaign and content performance through analytics and social listening tools. • Assist in translating insights into recommendations to improve future communications and marketing efforts. Requirements• Experience in communications, content creation, marketing, branding or related fields. • Experience in public sector communications, agency environments or campaign management will be advantageous. • Strong interest in storytelling, branding and visual communications. • Good writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail. • Familiar with social media platforms, content trends and audience engagement strategies. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or analytics tools is an advantage. • Independent, self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
