Credit Officer

The role is a maker role, as a junior officer in a MNC Bank Secured Loan Approval Unit who supports activities related to Mortgage Underwriting. This role carries out checking on internal caution lists, checking of documents, preparing instruction and data entry. Key Responsibilities: • Review incoming credit requests for completeness and accuracy, and convert to concise, accurately recorded credit facilities. • Prepare Credit Approvals (CAs), pre-screening of Mortgage applications, track CA progress during approval process, and ensure approvals are received in compliance with policy/recorded in database accurately. • Maintain accurate insurance records and controls to ensure timely follow-up and renewals of required insurance for equipment and equipment liability. • Perform data entry for Mortgage facility. • Retrieval of portfolio and related credit information for internal and external auditors as well as contribute to achieving acceptable audit ratings. • Liaise with Sales team to ensure proper follow up on queries during the review of documentation. • Will be expected to rotate and support various other administrative duties such as handling emails pertaining to property valuation, prepare and send out letter of instructions to vendors, data reconciliations. Qualifications & Skills • Experience in Loan, Mortgage, Credit, Documentation, Data Entry and Data analysis • Degree or Diploma The work location is at CBP.
