Field Service Engineer / Customer Engineer – Role Summary Key Responsibilities • Support Senior Field Service Engineers (Customer Engineers) with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades at customer sites. • Utilize digital analytics and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment issues. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on:Electrical systemsVacuum systemsMechanical systemsPlasma systemsHydraulic systemsGas delivery systems • Communicate and coordinate directly with customers regarding service activities and equipment status. • Carry out additional assigned operational and technical duties. Minimum Qualifications • Associate degree, military technical training, trade certification, or equivalent field service experience. • 1–2 years of experience in field service, customer support, equipment maintenance, or a related technical role. • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics. • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic experience. • Fundamental knowledge of:PneumaticsHydraulicsElectronicsVacuum technologyThermodynamics • Familiarity with hand tools and test equipment such as digital multimeters. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required. • Ability to comply with customer site safety, environmental, and health requirements. Preferred Qualifications • 2–4 years of experience in field service support or a related technical field. Physical & Work Environment Requirements • Frequent walking and standing for extended periods. • Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, and climbing ladders or stairs. • Ability to work at heights and lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg). • Capability to distinguish colors for electrical and equipment work. • Comfortable working around electrical systems and in noisy environments. • Regular use of hand tools and power tools. • Work is primarily conducted in a semiconductor cleanroom environment requiring:CoverallsHoodsBootiesSafety glassesGlovesRespiratorsChemical apronsFace shields
