Service Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Service Engineer with a proven track record in delivering repair and calibration services for Mechanical Optics & Surveying Equipment, contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on Mechanical Optics & Surveying Equipment such as prismatic compass, telescope, binoculars, periscope, and boresight scopes to ensure optimal functionality • Independently manage and deliver completed service jobs within agreed timelines to meet customer service level agreements (SLA) • Execute laboratory support functions efficiently and in an organized manner to maintain operational workflow • Participate actively in external and internal audits coordinated by the System Assurance team to uphold quality standards • Complete all assigned work within budgeted timelines and target dates while maintaining accurate control and reporting of work in progress • Adapt to and implement new and improved processes to support the growth and innovation of the service business • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless end-to-end service processes Required competencies and certifications • Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience in the related field Preferred competencies and qualifications • Proficiency in technology and IT tools, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Enterprise Systems such as SAP • Ability to work extended hours when necessary • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement • Highly adaptable with strong multi-tasking skills
