Data Specialist (Python, SQL) (JD#10917)

Job Summary Seeking a Junior data/analytics professional responsible for analyzing banking data using SQL and Python, supporting data architecture and reporting, and collaborating with users to gather requirements and resolve issues. Mandatory Skill-set • Must have strong knowledge of SQL and Python; • Must have Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently with users for requirements gathering and issue investigation; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; • Basic understanding of banking products. Desired Skill-set • Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data warehouse and big data technologies; • Familiarity with Hadoop and discovery/BI tools such as Qlik Sense and Hue, plus exposure to AI tools; Responsibilities • Gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications on data related initiatives; • Perform data investigation and data analysis to support Bank wide users' queries; • Perform data profiling and gap analysis, source to target mappings, data issue capturing, resolution and escalation; • Provide end-to-end project delivery support, including requirements walkthrough, user acceptance testing; • Execute data analysis and data investigation; • Conduct end-to-end User Acceptance Test (UAT) process; • Manage business glossary and dashboards for review and analytical purposes; • Assist the entire project implementations.
