Database Administrator

• Monitor DB Infrastructure performance and resolution of technical problems • Execute disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure database availability during system outages or dysfunction. • Identify and implement database requirements for new or existing applications by working collaboratively with other teams. • Support users and developers by resolving data-related technical issues and troubleshooting queries by guiding them with best practices. • Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL and Oracle. • Required to be on standby 24x7 on-site or on-call after office hours, weekends and public holidays for operational or implementation projects • Possess good team work and able to provide clear instructions, guidance as well as knowledge sharing to the team • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.
