DC Operations

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Centre Operator to support the day-to-day operations of our client's data centre facilities. This is a 1-year contract position that requires 24/7 standby support. Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, M365. Work Location: Novena Fixed monthly salary up to $3500 Upon end of contract, incentive of performance bonus up to 1 month basic salary subject to reporting manager’s appraisal Required to be on 24x7 standby Transportation Claim with supporting receipts and subject to RO/PM’s approval Job Description: Provide Data Centre operational supports Day to Day Tape Movements The role is responsible for monitoring systems, maintaining hardware, responding to incidents, and ensuring the availability, security, and performance of critical IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Monitor data centre systems, servers, networks, and environmental controls (power, cooling, alarms) - Perform routine operational tasks such as system checks, backups - Manage rack, cable, label, and decommission servers and network equipment - Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in accordance with SLAs and procedures - Escalate issues to engineering or vendor teams when required - Maintain accurate documentation, inventory records, and change logs - Support planned maintenance, upgrades, and data centre audits - Ensure compliance with security, safety, and operational policies Requirement: • Locals (Required to clear Cat2 G50 and pre-employment check) • Able to be on 24x7 standby • 1 - 3 years of relevant Data Centre Operator experience • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, M365 • Knowledge on Data Protector Software will be value added • Must serve 2 months notice when hired for this project ES Recruitment Pte Ltd (09C4235) Hong Chiew Guat (R1219860)
