Design Project Engineer

• Managethe overall design process of the project, formulate design-related work plans,track the progress and implementation of design tasks, and ensure alignmentwith key project milestones such as mechanical completion and power-onschedules. • Identifydesign-related issues in a timely manner and coordinate solutions to ensuresmooth project execution. • Coordinateand integrate activities across design, procurement, construction, quality, andother project functions to ensure seamless collaboration and prevent delayscaused by design interface issues. • Lead multidisciplinary coordination efforts, clarify interface requirements amongdisciplines, remove communication barriers, and support collaborativecompletion of design deliverables, including approval drawings anddocumentation. • Act asthe key communication bridge between overseas and China-based teams (such asTianjin Institute), ensuring timely synchronization of design progress,technical requirements, and project updates. • Translate owner requirements and local Singapore authority requirements into actionabledesign standards and track their implementation throughout the projectlifecycle. • Supportthe preparation, review, and approval of engineering and design documents,including IFR, IFD, IFC drawings, procurement documents, and SOW documents. • Assist with local design approval submissions andensure compliance with Singapore codes, regulations, and authorityrequirements. Reqirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering Design, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in design project management or engineering coordination. • Experience with integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project delivery. • Strong team orientation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Familiarity with Singapore design codes, approval procedures, and local authority submission processes is a plus. • Understanding of engineering document stages: IFR, IFD, IFC drawings, procurement documents, and SOW preparation. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
