Role Overview The Digital Business Analyst (Technical) supports the delivery of digital solutions by translating business and information needs into actionable requirements, developing prototypes and analyses, and working with stakeholders to deliver data-driven outcomes. The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on technical capability, and the ability to operate in iterative and evolving project environments. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Development - Elicit, analyse, and document business and information needs - Translate requirements into user stories and functional specifications aligned to platform capabilities - Frame clear problem statements and define solution requirements Project Planning & Delivery - Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, objectives, and deliverables - Support end-to-end project delivery through planning, execution, and iteration - Ensure deliverables meet defined requirements and quality standards Prototyping & Data Analysis - Develop prototypes or conduct data analyses to support business needs using digital tools - Apply appropriate analytical techniques to generate insights and inform solution design Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration - Engage stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities, and progress - Facilitate discussions to support project delivery and decision-making Iterative Development & Continuous Improvement - Perform continuous iteration of solutions based on feedback and evolving requirements - Ensure outputs are refined to meet business needs and quality expectations Role Expectations - Operate independently with minimal supervision in dynamic environments - Apply structured thinking to ambiguous problems - Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality outputs - Adapt to changing requirements and project priorities - Align project outcomes with programme and organisational goals Skills & Experience - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a customer-oriented mindset - Experience in prototyping digital solutions (e.g. low-code tools, mock-ups, wireframes) - Ability to conduct primary and secondary research to inform product, process, or service design - Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT) - Understanding of product management - Ability to facilitate discussions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Able to work independently while contributing as part of a team - Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable - Strong interest in emerging digital technologies
