About this role
Key Responsibilities1. Disciplinary & Mentorship Support• Manage and support school discipline operations, including managing late-coming, in-house suspensions, detentions, and student pull-out programmes. • Serve as a dedicated mentor for students who require closer guidance and support. • Engage with students in respectful, positive, and constructive ways. 2. Patrolling & Security Monitoring• Conduct regular patrols of school grounds—including classroom blocks, the canteen, basketball courts, and the field—during recess and lunch times. • Perform physical monitoring and patrolling of school premises and the surrounding neighborhood after formal school curriculum hours. 3. Investigative & Case Support• Assist in investigating behavioral incidents using a Restorative Practices approach. • Obtain official student and witness statements to pass to the Student Management Key Personnel (KPs) for formal follow-up. • Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and students to close the loop on outstanding cases. Job RequirementsRequired Experience• Enforcement Background: Must have a minimum of 5 years of former working experience in an enforcement agency. • Teamwork: Proven track record of working effectively as part of a team and strictly maintaining established operational work processes. Core Competencies & Skills• Behavioral Intervention: Ability to deliver calm, measured, and proportionate behavioral interventions. • Professionalism: Demonstrates sound judgment, utmost discretion, fairness, and strict confidentiality during case investigations. • Communication: Firm yet respectful approach when engaging and working with youth. • Collaboration: A collaborative working style to interface smoothly with teachers and the Student Management committee. • Technical Proficiency: Basic digital skills, including the use of MS Word, MS Excel, handling emails, and accurate data entry.
