Job Description Yuhua Secondary School is looking for a dedicated and firm individual to join us as a Discipline Support Officer. You will work closely with the Student Management team to maintain a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for our students. Key Responsibilities • Investigative & Case Support: Assist in conducting preliminary investigations, fact-finding interviews, compiling evidence, and preparing structured incident reports. • Maintain Discipline Tone: Routinely patrol the school compound and immediate vicinity (stairwells, void decks); manage student behaviour in common spaces like the canteen. • Detention & Restoration: Supervise and engage students meaningfully during scheduled detention sessions, keeping proper attendance and behavioural records. • Suspension Support: Manage students on internal suspension and coordinate learning continuity with Year Heads. • Holiday Administrative Support: Cover front counter services, handle visitors, manage phone queries, and perform basic data entry during scheduled school holidays. Job Requirements • Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of former experience in law enforcement (SPF, CNB, ISD), as an SAF regular, or in secondary school student management. • Interpersonal Skills: Calm disposition under pressure, excellent communication skills with parents and staff, and a firm yet respectful approach towards students. • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel), emails, and Google workspace tools. Job Details • Contract Period: 1 August 2026 to 31 December 2027 (17-month term). • Location: 35 Jurong West St 41, Singapore 649406. • Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM / Wed: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM), Fridays (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM). No weekend or public holiday deployment.
