About this role
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Education Officer to support the Education Division. You will assist in delivering the museum’s educational programmes—especially Museum-based Learning: Asian Adventures for Primary 6—including school booking coordination, group briefing, logistics, and reporting. Location: Singapore Working Hours: Mon–Fri, Office Hours Salary: Up to $2,900/month Start Date: Immediate Duration: 12-month contract Key Responsibilities • Manage school bookings via email, phone calls, and the BookMuseums booking portal • Respond to email/phone enquiries from schools • Welcome school groups and conduct mass briefings (including crowd control when needed) • Coordinate logistics, security services, and learning resources for visits • Monitor, stock take and procure MBL resources; update SOPs/guidelines when required • Collate and track monthly statistics/KPIs • Assist with workshop/programme coordination (onsite & online), including equipment lists and logistics • Support dissemination of marketing materials (school brochures, newsletters, resource kits) • Assist in maintaining exhibition interpretive spaces and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Arts management, education, art, history, or museum/gallery-related field (preferred) • Ability to manage large student groups up to 120 pax per session • Able to deliver clear, firm, professional mass briefings • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying calm in unpredictable situations • Strong teamwork mindset (team of two/small team) • Professional communication and good email writing skills for high volume correspondence • Organised and detail-oriented • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Outlook, and online booking portals • Relevant experience is preferred (but others are welcome to apply)
