Epic-MyChart Consultant

Job Description ·      We are seeking a Senior Analyst with strong expertise in Epic systems, particularly MyChart, to support system design, implementation, and optimization.  ·      This role will work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and user-centric Epic solutions.  Key Responsibilities  ·      Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Epic systems, with a focus on MyChart functionality. ·       Configure Epic modules and applications in alignment with organizational and patient engagement requirements.  ·      Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure stability and efficiency.  ·      Support Epic implementation and upgrade initiatives, including execution, validation, and post-go-live support. ·       Manage system change requests and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of enhancements. ·       Provide ongoing support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving system-related issues. ·      Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows, and updates.  ·      Monitor system performance and usage metrics to identify improvement opportunities.  ·      Generate and analyze reports to support operational decisions and system enhancements. ·       Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data governance, and organizational policies.  ·      Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard patient data and system integrity.  ·      Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to resolve issues and drive improvements. ·       Propose and implement system enhancements to improve usability and patient experience.  ·      Stay up to date with Epic releases, MyChart capabilities, and industry best practices.  Qualifications & Requirements  ·      Active Epic certification (MyChart or relevant module) with minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience.  ·      Proven experience in Epic module implementation, optimization, or support.  ·      Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and patient engagement systems.  ·      Experience in system testing, troubleshooting, and release management. ·       Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is an added advantage.  ·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. ·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, clinical, and technical teams.  Preferred Skills  ·      Experience supporting MyChart enhancements and patient-facing digital platforms.  ·      Exposure to Epic upgrades, integration, and interoperability workflows.  ·      Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
