About the role: We are seeking a EUC Desktop Lead to oversee and enhance enterprise desktop services, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient end-user computing across the organization. Working Hours: Mon-Fri, Office hours Salary package: $10000 (basic) + AWS Job type: Contract Job Responsibilities: • Provide and support enterprise end user computing services across desktops, laptops, and virtual environments (e.g. Windows, Microsoft 365, VDI) • Plan and implement improvements to workplace technologies, including endpoint management tools (e.g. Intune, SCCM) to enhance user experience • Deliver and oversee projects to standardize and optimize desktop environments, including OS deployment, patching, and software distribution across the organisation • Act as service lead for EUC operations, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of desktop services • Manage vendors delivering end user services, ensuring performance meets SLA requirements, conducting service reviews, and acting as escalation point for critical issues • Work with service providers and internal teams to maintain operations, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents, problems, and changes • Govern end user computing service delivery, ensuring compliance with security, audit, and organizational standards • Support daily operations and drive automation or efficiency improvements using tools such as PowerShell and endpoint management solutions • Partner with stakeholders to define service improvements, roadmap enhancements, and future workplace technology initiatives Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field • At least 6 years of experience in end user computing or ICT infrastructure • Strong knowledge of desktop technologies, with basic understanding of network and servers • Able to manage projects, multitask, and work with stakeholders • Good communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take initiative By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).
