About this role
Job Purpose Deliver exceptional front-of-house service to customers by ensuring a warm welcome, accurate order taking, and timely table service. Represent the restaurant’s brand through professionalism and attentiveness. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests, seat them according to availability and manage waiting lists during peak hours • Present menu, explain daily specials, upsell menu to create interest and awareness • Assist to clear and reset tables efficiently for next seating • Operate POS for order entry and billing with accuracy (when required) • Participate in service briefings and product knowledge training • Ensure all dining areas, pantry and stations are clean and organised • Assist in monthly stock take and report low inventory items • Follow all hygiene, food safety, and personal grooming standards • Report spills, hazards, or accidents immediately to supervisor • Collaborate with kitchen and floor team to ensure smooth flow of service Job Requirements • Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in F&B or retail preferred • Basic command of English and/or Mandarin to liaise with team and guests • Physically fit; able to stand long hours as host / hostess • Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and service mindset • Able to commit to shift, weekend, and public holiday duties • Well-groomed, punctual, and able to multitask under pressure
