Position: Freelance Occupational Therapist (1-to-1) Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children’s fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional performance. • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that address each child’s specific needs and goals. • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focused on improving daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory integration, and play skills. • Utilise evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to engage children and promote their participation in daily activities. • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective strategies are applied across various environments. • Maintain accurate documentation of each child’s progress, adapting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in occupational therapy and special education. Requirements: • A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. • Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore. • Previous experience working with children with developmental delays, disabilities, or special needs, particularly in a one-to-one setting. • Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and occupational therapy interventions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to working with children and their families. • Ability to work independently and customize therapy plans based on each child’s progress and needs. • A genuine passion for helping children develop the skills necessary for independent living and participation in daily activities.
