Position: Freelance Private Ballet/Dance Teacher (1-To-1) Responsibilities: • Provide personalised ballet or dance instruction tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, and learning goals. • Develop and implement individualised lesson plans that focus on technique, choreography, rhythm, and body awareness. • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that nurtures creativity, self-confidence, and a love for dance. • Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of each student. • Prepare students for performances, exams, or personal milestones, offering guidance and support throughout the process. • Collaborate with families to keep them informed about their child’s progress and to discuss ways to support learning and practice at home. • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in dance education, incorporating new techniques and styles into lessons. Requirements: • Proficiency in ballet or dance, with a strong understanding of technique and choreography. • Previous experience teaching dance to children in a one-to-one setting is highly desirable. • A relevant degree or certification in dance education or performance is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging approach to teaching. • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. • A passion for inspiring children through dance and fostering their creativity and self-expression.
