About this role
We are looking for independent game developers/programmers keen on freelancing, contract-for-service, being a self-employed person (SEPs), or displays entrepreneurial traits in game-centric sectors that have accumulated experience, interest or passion in changing Singapore's landscape by sharing information, gaining multidisciplinary insights and collaborating with other residents in Singapore to weave a line of national folklore, community building and establishing singaporean identities within interactive experiences º. Target Key Game Dev/Prgmer Domains: • Game Software Engineering & Programming • User Experience (UX) and Game Design • Serious Games and Gamification • Cloud Gaming & Live-Ops Infrastructure • Cross-Platform Development • Real-time 3D Rendering & Simulation • Game Mechanics & System Design • Analytics & Player Behavioural Modelling • Ethical & Accessible Gaming (Ren.py, Godot, Bevy, etc.) • Challenging AI and Machine Learning for Gaming Roles & Responsibilities^: • This is a Contract for Service/Partnership Opportunity. We are seeking a Co-Founder/Independent Collaborator, not an employee.* • Generating leads & headhunting talent and clients to provide research market surveying through consultations • Exploring alternative methodologies to existing systems and processes for research, development and experimentation • Analysing data structures and databases for identifying problem situations and opportunities for growth • Managing compliance to governmental regulations and policies defined in the gaming sectors (Engineering, Technology, Arts Design & Media, Communications, etc.) • Produce & curate independent research and reports towards production of new technologies, services, products, business ventures or movement campaigns • Promote and communicate with external stakeholders to deliver impactful content and engagement • Maintain existing services and technical softwares • Identify risks and limitations in research plan • Documenting archives and information through report writing, programme development and regulatory journalism through group research Requirements: • Tier 1: 'O'-Level, 'A'-Level school graduates • Tier 2: Polytechnic/ITE Diploma graduates, Full Time NSF, NSmen not more than 3 years from their Operationally Ready Date (ORD) or polytechnic/ITE graduation • Tier 3: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in supportive, technical, administrative or operational roles & those enrolled in an undergraduate degree or have freshly graduated • Tier 4: 3 or more years of relevant work experience in leadership, managerial or supervisory roles & those enrolled in a graduate degree or are a postgraduate (Masters/PhD) *= This job is not covered under MOM's Employment Act.
