Job Summary The FSE will develop Proof of Concepts, review AI-generated and vendor code, prepare and execute automated testing, and streamline code development and deployment processes for HPB’s Digital Services supporting Whole of Government and national initiatives. Responsibilities • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate new digital service ideas and solutions for HPB’s IT projects • Review and fine-tune code generated by AI tools or outsourced software vendors to ensure quality and compliance • Prepare and execute automated testing to verify software functionality and performance • Streamline processes related to code development, review, deployment, and testing to improve efficiency and reliability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Agile delivery methodologies and tools • Apply hands-on experience in Cloud Technology to implement scalable and secure solutions • Support government projects/products by adhering to relevant standards and requirements • Assist in application operations, audit fieldwork, and Problem/Incident Management to maintain system stability • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues and facilitate project progress • Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize software solutions • Incorporate knowledge of local healthcare domain and government security guidelines (e.g., Instruction Manual) into project work • Explore and adopt AI technologies to enhance digital service capabilities Required competencies and certifications • Degree in IT • Minimum four (4) years of development experience with the Singapore Tech Stack within the last seven (7) years • Minimum four (4) years of experience working with Agile methodologies, tools, and delivery • Minimum four (4) years of hands-on experience in Cloud Technology and implementation • Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting government projects/products Preferred competencies and qualifications • Strong communication skills demonstrated in project collaboration and stakeholder engagement • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills applied to software development and operational challenges • Experience supporting application operations, audit fieldwork, and Problem/Incident Management • Knowledge of local healthcare domain • Familiarity with government security guidelines such as the Instruction Manual • Exposure to AI usage and adoption in software development and operations
