The Company We are supporting our client and looking for a Facilities Operations & Workplace Support Manager to join on a 5-month contract, starting as soon as possible. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to day-to-day office operations and can step in quickly to keep the workplace running smoothly with minimal ramp-up. The Role • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day facilities and workplace matters, ensuring the smooth running of the office environment. • Manage daily operational needs across the workplace, including maintenance requests, minor office changes, and general floor support. • Coordinate routine repairs, maintenance activities, and attendance of external service providers such as cleaners and contractors. • Oversee workplace services including pantry supplies, office consumables, and general upkeep to maintain service standards and cost efficiency. • Support space management activities such as desk allocations, locker assignments, and minor workplace reconfigurations. • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes from a facilities perspective, including access, desk setup, and basic workplace readiness. • Support office security processes, access control, and emergency or incident response activities as required. • Work closely with vendors to ensure services are delivered in line with expectations and escalate issues where needed. • Support reporting, compliance checks, and documentation to ensure adherence to internal standards, SOPs, and HSE requirements. • Assist with business continuity activities, office moves, and internal events when required. Your Profile • Hands-on experience in facilities management, workplace services, or corporate office operations. • Proven experience coordinating vendors and service providers in a live office environment. • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. • Comfortable handling day-to-day operational issues with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. • Familiarity with workplace safety, compliance standards, or basic HSE requirements is an advantage. • Able to work independently and step in quickly with minimal ramp-up.
