About this role
The Company Our client is a well-established organization operating within a regulated global framework, undergoing a significant transformation of its operating model. We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Transformation Manager to sit at the heart of this change, working directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to turn strategic intent into operational reality. The Role This is a high-visibility individual contributor role, reporting directly into senior leadership, with broad scope across operating model design, process improvement, and implementation delivery. You will own the end-to-end documentation and execution of transformation initiatives, from discovery through to business-as-usual transition. • Assess and document how the business currently operates, covering processes, governance, roles, controls, and systems to build a clear baseline for change. • Design and validate future-state operating models, translating agreed requirements into practical process changes, role definitions, and governance structures. • Run stakeholder workshops and interviews to draw out requirements, surface inefficiencies, and build alignment across functions. • Produce clear, well-structured documentation that supports decision-making, implementation, and handover, including process maps, operating procedures, and business requirements. • Track progress, issues, and dependencies across workstreams, keeping delivery on course and escalating risks where needed. • Drive impact assessments across people, processes, systems, and controls, connecting design decisions to real implications for cost, capacity, and service quality. • Support the build-out of governance frameworks, including updated policies and committee structures aligned to group standards. • Contribute to go-live preparation, including testing, training inputs, and ensuring teams are ready to operate in the new model. • Define how success will be measured, helping the business track whether transformation is delivering the intended outcomes. Your Profile • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a qualification in business analysis or change management is advantageous • 6–10 years of experience in business transformation, operating model design, or process improvement, ideally within financial services or a similarly regulated environment. • Strong end-to-end understanding of how organisations operate across governance, people, process, technology, and controls, and where change creates the most impact. • A structured thinker who can cut through ambiguity, frame complex problems clearly, and turn analysis into practical delivery actions. • Confident communicator and facilitator, able to engage and influence stakeholders from operational teams through to senior leadership. • High standard of written output, documentation that is clear, accurate. • Proven experience taking change through to go-live, including testing, readiness assessment, and transition to business as usual. • Able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing attention to detail or sight of the bigger picture. • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or equivalent process mapping tools.
