We are seeking an HR & Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a contract position that plays a vital role in supporting our Human Resources and Administrative operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smoothday-to-day functioning of our HR and administrative departments, providing essential support to both our management team and employees across the organisation. Key responsibilities • Assist in recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews to support hiring processes • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure accurate personnel information • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to facilitate smooth employee transitions • Prepare HR documents including employment contracts, confirmation letters, and reports for management and compliance • Coordinate employee engagement activities and training sessions to promote workforce development • Administer leave requests and maintain leave records accurately • Manage office supplies and ensure efficient office operations to support daily business needs • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events to optimize time management • Maintain physical and digital filing systems for easy access and record keeping • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services What we'relooking for • Proven experience working in an HR or administrative support role, ideally within a marine, logistics or similar operations-driven industry • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy • Knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and data protection requirements • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel information with discretion • Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Customer service orientation and professional demeanour when interacting with employees at all levels • A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field would be advantageous
