ICT Security Engineer

We are hiring for an ICT Security Engineer to strengthen its capabilities in improving cyber threat detection and response by deploying, maintaining, and improving the SIEM infrastructure. This person will be a part of Production Infrastructure and Observability teams and will be part of the SIEM Engineering team. Job Responsibility: • Install and administer the servers of the SIEM infrastructure. • Develop automation for various tasks and self-service tools. • Participate in the integration of logs from new technologies. • Support log parsing using custom parser/GROK development. • Participate in project management activities. • Act as a full-time member of the Production CSIRT / SIEM Engineering team and contribute to the team’s activities. • Contribute to the Permanent Control framework through the implementation of policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. Contribute to incident reporting in accordance with the Incident Management System. Job Requirement: • Min 5- 7 years of strong working knowledge of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats) including data ingestion, management, monitoring, and analytics. (Mandatory) • In-depth experience with Kafka. • Good working knowledge of Linux (RedHat / Ubuntu). • Programming skills (Python or Bash) are required. • Experience as a production support engineer. • Platform integration skills are an advantage. • Experience in installation, configuration, documentation, and administration of multiple pre-production and production platforms across virtual and physical environments. • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and DevOps pipelines is an added advantage.
