Job SummaryAs a Healthcare Assistant at My Queen, you will provide compassionate care and support to mothers and newborns, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during their stay. Responsibilities• Clean, bathe, and change diapers for babies to maintain hygiene and comfort • Feed babies while ensuring safety and proper care of umbilical, oral, and eye areas • Record babies’ temperature, feeding patterns, and mental and physical behaviors to monitor health • Track and report babies’ growth progress to support developmental care • Guide parents on infection control and baby safety practices to promote a safe environment • Monitor mothers’ recovery progress and report any concerns promptly • Coach mothers on breastfeeding and baby care techniques to enhance maternal confidence • Support mothers in understanding and managing postnatal conditions with empathy and clear communication • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support team operations Working Hours• 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM and 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM shifts, inclusive of 1.5-hour break • Commitment to two shifts per week, including weekends and public holidays Salary• From $120 per weekday shift and $132 per weekend/public holiday shift Additional Benefits• Paid on-the-job training provided • Meal allowance provided • Uniform supplied • Night shift and standby incentives Required competencies• Physically fit to carry infants and stand for extended periods to perform daily tasks safely and effectively • Strong mindset to remain calm and patient in a caregiving environment • Able to commit to working twice a week, including weekends and public holidays Preferred competencies• Relevant experience in infant or maternal care is advantageous • Immediate availability preferred
