Job Summary We seek an experienced Informatica Developer with strong Python skills to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and data integration solutions, ensuring data quality and performance across multiple platforms. Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS to meet business requirements • Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, and system integrations to improve operational efficiency • Analyze source systems and translate business needs into technical ETL solutions • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse data sources to support data warehousing • Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for enhanced performance and scalability in production environments • Monitor and troubleshoot production ETL processes to resolve data issues promptly and maintain system reliability • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements • Ensure adherence to data quality, integrity, and governance standards throughout ETL processes • Create and maintain technical documentation, including mapping documents and support materials for knowledge sharing • Participate in code reviews, release deployments, and provide production support to ensure smooth operations Required competencies and certifications • Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for ETL development • Proficient in Python programming for automation, data processing, and integration tasks • Strong SQL skills and database knowledge across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms • Solid understanding of ETL development and data warehousing concepts to design effective data pipelines • Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting to support ETL workflows and automation • Understanding of APIs, file handling, and automation frameworks using Python to enhance integration capabilities • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or cron jobs to manage ETL job execution • Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs to maintain optimal system performance • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently Preferred competencies and qualifications • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git to support development lifecycle • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies to collaborate effectively in iterative development environments
