Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description ·      We are seeking a proactive Infrastructure Support Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration and production support. ·       The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure lifecycle activities, ensuring system stability, security, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.  Key Responsibilities  ·      Infrastructure Management: Manage end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle from server provisioning to production cutover  ·      Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams from requirement gathering to implementation  ·      Analyze infrastructure architecture and identify gaps and improvement areas  ·      Perform RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration, and shell scripting for cloud-based environments  ·      Act as SME for Linux administration and automation Support application teams in troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues  ·      Operations & Process: Prepare technical project plans for new initiatives within BAU operations  ·      Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to deliver technical solutions and enhancements  ·      Drive onboarding of new applications into the production environment ·       Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security in line with organizational/banking standards  ·      Implement and maintain controls such as patch management, antivirus, system scans, and configuration management  ·      Support preventive, detective, and corrective security measures  Required Skills & Qualifications:  ·      4+ years of hands-on experience in production application support 1–3 years of experience in infrastructure support and OS administration  ·      Strong expertise in RHEL 6/7 (patching, administration, shell scripting)  ·      Knowledge of MQ, Elasticsearch, and AWS (preferred)  ·      Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace  ·      Good understanding of infrastructure lifecycle and cloud environments  ·      Strong communication and stakeholder management skills  ·      Ability to lead discussions, drive meetings, and coordinate across teams  ·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
