Job Description: • Own both the delivery and architecture of enterprise integration across a transformation programme. • The role will be accountable for ensuring integration workstreams are governed, prioritised, architecturally sound, and delivered in line with programme timelines, business priorities, and enterprise standards. • The candidate must have strong hands-on and architectural experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, reusable integration patterns, canonical data models, and enterprise integration governance. Key Responsibilities: • Defining and operating the integration COE operating model and intake process. • Owning the integration roadmap, delivery plan, and capacity plan across all workstreams. • Managing escalations, blockers, risks, and cross-programme dependencies. • Leading stage-gate design reviews from intake through deployment. • Setting and enforcing API standards, non-functional requirements, naming conventions, design patterns, and integration best practices. • Maintaining the enterprise integration catalogue as the single source of truth. • Designing scalable, reusable, and governed MuleSoft APIs and integrations. • Reviewing MuleSoft solution designs, RAML/API specifications, data mappings, security models, and deployment approaches. • Working with business, application, data, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams to align integration outcomes. • Supporting estimation, planning, delivery governance, and release readiness for integration workstreams. Requirements: Must have Skills: • MuleSoft Integration Architecture: Strong experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, reusable APIs, and MuleSoft deployment patterns, designing and reviewing reusable MuleSoft APIs, including System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs. • Enterprise Integration Governance & Standards: Ability to define and enforce API standards, integration patterns, NFRs, design governance, reusable assets, and integration catalogue management. • Platform, Network & Security Architecture Alignment: Ability to work with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure architects to ensure the MuleSoft platform is correctly set up, secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Good to have: • MuleSoft Certifications • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Platform Architect, or Developer certification. Enterprise Architecture Experience: • Experience with TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks, and ability to align integration architecture with broader enterprise architecture principles. DevOps & Operational Support Knowledge: • Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, alerting, release management, and supportability patterns for MuleSoft integrations.
