Roles & Responsibilities • Caring for students' well-being and learning progression • Course delivery • Teach according to the curriculum outline • Monitor class progression according to objectives • Monitor student academic performance against outcomes • Undertake a fair and equitable assessment of students • Submit students' academic progress reports to the Academic Director • Maintain a positive learning environment appropriate to Inspiration’s ethos • Maintain at least 90% of student attendance in each class • Produce supplementary teaching resources, when required • Contribute to the curriculum development and general administration needs of the program as required • Willing to share with and guide students based on real-life experiences and knowledge The Inspiration Way • Learning activities all relate to authentic design project practices • Teachers take on the role of Studio Manager • Students take on the role of trainee designer in the studio Requirements • Commitment to Inspiration’s vision, mission, and strategic goals in the delivery of our programs • Demonstrated content knowledge of the program and monitoring strategies, which enable students to achieve their full potential • Ability to utilize a range of teaching and learning strategies to maintain student attendance and monitor student progress • Demonstrated organizational skills and commitment to deliver the program, undertake student assessment, and submit progress reports on time and according to requirements • Ability to teach students on project management with the relevance to Interior Design • Knowledge of various design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Rendering software) will be an added advantage
