About this role
The Intern, Brand & Communications sits in the Brand, Communications and Sustainability team and will support the team in enhancing our brand and corporate communications efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, internal and external communications, and campaign execution. The intern will gain valuable exposure to corporate communications, public relations, and brand-building initiatives in a regional setting. Responsibilities Content creation & social media • Assist in developing engaging content for social media platforms and websites • Support the creation of visual assets such as graphics, videos, and infographics • Monitor social media trends and contribute ideas for campaigns Employee communications • Assist in drafting internal communications such as company announcements, newsletter, and event invitations • Help manage and update content on company intranet Event & campaign support • Support the planning and execution of company townhalls, webinars, and sponsorship activities • Assist in coordinating with vendors and partners to ensure smooth event operations • Provide logistical support, including catering arrangements and venue setup • Maintain and update media contact lists to support media relations efforts Research & performance tracking • Conduct desktop research on industry trends, competitors, and communication best practices • Track media coverage and compile reports on campaign performance Requirements • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field • Strong writing, editing, and research skills with attention to detail • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content management tools • Familiarity with design and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus • Experience with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater is an advantage • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in creating presentation materials • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Adaptable, fast learner, and team player with a proactive mindset • Ability to manage stakeholders is a plus
