Intern in Risk Control & Business Development

We are from Vanding Innova SG Pte. Ltd., which is part of Wanxiang Group, rank 131st among top 500 China companies in 2025, and has extensive experience in commodities trading. Our focus is on wholesale trading of crude oil and petrochemicals. We are currently looking for motivated interns to join our Risk Control and Business teams. Job Scopes: • Assist in conducting client due diligence (KYC) and credit assessments, gaining exposure to risk evaluation processes. • Support the organization and analysis of trading data for commodities (e.g. crude oil, petrochemicals), and learn basic trading analytics. • Assist in monitoring market and transaction risks (e.g. price fluctuations, counterparty risk) under guidance. • Support trade execution processes, including documentation and contract tracking, and learn international trade practices. • Conduct market research on industry trends, pricing and supply-demand dynamics. • Assist the business team with client communication records and order follow-ups. • Support the preparation of internal reports (risk reports, business analysis). • Gain hands-on exposure to real business cases under supervision and perform any ad hoc duties assigned by superiors. Job Requirements: • Undergraduate or postgraduate student (any discipline; Finance, Economics, International Trade or Chemistry-related fields are a plus). • Strong interest in commodities trading, risk management or financial markets, with a willingness to learn. • Good analytical skills and attention to detail, proficient in Microsoft Excel and office tools, with good written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus (to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders).
