Services: Senior Day Care | Home Care | Nursing Home | Active Ageing and Senior Fitness | Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy | Family Medicine Community Support: CCMS (Community Case Management Services) | CREST (Community Resource, Engagement and Support Team) | Henderson Home RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with taking vital signs and monitoring • Assist in setting up, conducting a simple exercise programme and ambulating seniors under the supervision of a rehab staff member • Assist the therapist in any rehab task in the centre, including ensuring a clean and safe environment for seniors • Support clients to adopt technology in rehab - telerehab (may involve helping the clients in their own home) QUALIFICATIONS You are: • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or diploma or ITE. • A team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn. • Proficient in Google Suite applications. OTHER INFORMATION • Selected intern will need to complete BCLS+AED and on-the-job training. • Vitals: Interpret physiological data to ensure patient readiness for therapy. • Exercise: Execute kinesiologically sound movements under clinical supervision. • Environment: Maintain IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) and safety standards. • Tech/Telerehab: Navigate the logistics of remote care and digital literacy for seniors.
