About this role
We are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on operations professional to lead vendor governance, cost optimisation, and process improvement initiatives across our operations. This role will work closely with local operations teams, procurement, engineering, and external vendors to enhance operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, and service quality. The International Quality Assurance Manager would be responsible for: Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Governance & Performance Management • Evaluate and benchmark existing cleaning and repair vendors to ensure alignment with operational and commercial expectations. • Conduct vendor audits and operational reviews to assess performance, compliance, and service quality. • Identify underperforming vendors and recommend corrective actions, restructuring, or replacement strategies. • Lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives for new IBC units, including vendor selection and onboarding. Cost Optimization & Commercial Negotiation • Conduct detailed cost analysis of: • (a) Cleaning processes (labor, chemicals, utilities, throughput efficiency) • (b) Repair and welding works • (c) Parts replacement and material sourcing • Renegotiate commercial terms to achieve measurable cost savings. • Reduce cost per box refurbished without compromising quality. Process & Operational Improvement • Analyse current operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. • Improve throughput rates and reduce operational downtime across cleaning and refurbishment processes. • Assess and enhance existing washing lines and refurbishment operations to increase productivity and consistency. Design & Engineering Support (As and When Required) • Provide technical advisory support on product and process design optimisation. • Conduct value engineering reviews to reduce material weight and manufacturing costs without compromising durability or safety. • Review structural integrity, welding standards, coating specifications, and component standardisation. • Recommend modular and standardised design improvements to reduce lifecycle repair and maintenance costs.
