Job Description The International Sourcing Manager oversees global sourcing, supply planning, and import operations to ensure a consistent, compliant, and cost-efficient flow of FMCG products from overseas markets to retail outlets. This role is essential in maintaining uninterrupted supply across imported product ranges while supporting category performance through alignment of sourcing strategies with commercial goals, customer demand, and market trends. In this role, the manager drives direct import initiatives, develops long-term supplier partnerships, and ensures effective demand forecasting and inventory management. They are also responsible for managing the full import lifecycle and regulatory compliance, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to sustain supply continuity, optimise margins, and deliver operational excellence across the international supply chain. Key Responsibilities 1. International Sourcing • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to support career growth and margin improvement • Expand and manage overseas supplier network, ensuring cost competitiveness and supply continuity • Lead supplier sourcing, onboarding and negotiations to optimise pricing, termsand total landed cost • Track market trrends and identify opportunities for innovation and range development • Build supplier partnerships and explore opportunities through trade fairs and industry engagement 2. Demand & Supply Planning • Drive accurate demand forecasting and supply planning using sales data, trends, and promotions. • Manage end-to-end ordering and replenishment to ensure timely product delivery. • Monitor supply risks and work with suppliers to mitigate disruptions. • Optimise inventory levels, minimise stockouts, and manage excess or slow-moving products. 3. Import Operations & Compliance • Oversee the end-to-end import process, from order placement to delivery. • Coordinate shipments with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure on-time arrivals. • Ensure compliance with import regulations, licences, and food safety requirements. • Manage import costs and ensure timely financial reconciliation with partners. Job Requirements • Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related discipline. • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience across international sourcing, demand and supply planning and import operations, preferably within FMCG, retail or consumer goods. • Prior experience managing overseas suppliers and end to end supply chain processes (e.g. demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimisation and OOS management). • Proficient in data analysis and planning tools; Microsoft Excel skills. • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
