About this role
Responsibilities: The scope of IT Infrastructure Engineer (System Administration) shall include the following: • Working with a system infrastructure team • Responsible for the operations, support, maintenance, research and development to ensure continual innovation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system • Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for on-premise environment and on GCC • Participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure •Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners • Accountable for the following systems: • Red Hat Linux and Windows; • Middleware includes WebSphere Application Servers, WebSphere Message Queue. Qualifications & Requirements: • Recognised degree with a technical major such as engineering, data communications or computer science.
