Junior Cloud Engineer - 4 Months Contract (Extendable)

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Junior Cloud Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in a real-world cloud environment and contribute meaningfully from the very beginning Key Responsibilities: • Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ALB/NLB, EBS, IAM, and Route 53. • Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform across Development, UAT, and Production environments. • Monitor system performance and availability using CloudWatch and CloudWatch Logs Insights and respond to alerts. • Assist in incident triage and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA). • Support IAM policy management, security group audits, and access control best practices. • Assist in deployment and troubleshooting of endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon). • Perform backup and recovery operations using AWS Backup solutions. • Execute patch management and routine system health checks for Linux and Windows systems to ensure security and compliance. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and networking issues in a timely manner. • Maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. • Support implementation projects by assisting senior engineers with documentation and tracking project timelines. • Handle minor configurations and business-as-usual (BAU) operational tasks independently. • Support ongoing AWS initiatives, including upcoming AI-related projects. Preferred Skills: • 1-2 Years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or related technical roles. • AWS Cloud practitioner certification. • Understanding of networking fundamentals (subnets, routing, DNS). • Linux administration basics. • Awareness of cost optimization and cloud security best practices. • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
