Junior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location: Changi Airport Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production environments, including compute, storage, virtualisation, and supporting systems. • Support infrastructure modernisation and on-premises to cloud migration initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. • Administer and optimise virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), including patching, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery activities. • Provide L2/L3 infrastructure support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational support for critical platform services. • Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform stability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. • Min. 1 year working experience managing enterprise infrastructure platforms across on-premises and/or cloud environments. • Strong hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualisation technologies. • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and cloud migration initiatives. • Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, monitoring, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools would be advantageous. • Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus. • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
