About this role
Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations of Canopy, including systems for loan/returnaccountability of games and resources. • Maintain a safe, structured, and student-friendly environment duringCanopy activities and operating hours. • Build positive relationships and engage meaningfully with studentsthrough programmes and interactions. • Plan and implement targeted after-school programmes and workshops withGear Up Committee teachers. • Support students’ socio-emotional development and strengthen schoolconnectedness and belonging. • Assist in supervising students during Learning Journeys, excursions, andCanopy-related activities. • Monitor, observe, and identify students’ needs and behavioural oremotional challenges. • Use screening and assessment tools to support intervention planningwhere required. • Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to discuss studentprogress and intervention strategies. • Provide feedback, consultation, and administrative support related toCanopy programmes and student matters. Requirements: • Preferably possess at least a Diploma in Social Work, Youth Work, or arelated discipline. • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in social work, youth engagement,or student support preferred. • Strong interpersonal, rapport-building, communication, andproblem-solving skills. • Experience in planning, coordinating, and facilitating group programmesor workshops for students. • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, community partners,and stakeholders.
