Lead Specialist to assist the Heads of Department in the following areas: CCA & Student Leadership Development About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Specialist to support the Heads of Department in the planning, coordination and execution of co-curricular and student leadership programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing our students holistically, nurturing them to become confident leaders and active contributors to the school and community. Key Responsibilities • Plan, coordinate and manage CCA programmes and student leadership development initiatives • Supervise and guide students in CCA activities, leadership projects, outdoor education programmes and camps • Manage the administration, logistics, procurement of CCA coaches/instructors and safety requirements for CCA and student leadership activities • Collaborate with teachers, CCA instructors, and external partners to deliver meaningful learning experiences for students • Maintain and manage CCA facilities, equipment and resources • Mentor and guide junior team members • Support school events, sub-committees and ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements Academic Qualifications • Minimum a Diploma in any of the following: Sports Science, Physical Education, Outdoor Education, Outdoor & Adventure Learning, Youth Development, Education, or a related field, or relevant work experience (supported by portfolio) • A Bachelor's Degree in any of the above disciplines or a relevant teaching qualification would be an advantage Professional Certifications (preferred) • Outdoor Adventure Learning (OAL) facilitation certification or equivalent • Wilderness First Aid (WFA) or equivalent first aid certification • SNAS / OBS / SNCS / SCF certifications (or equivalent certification in rope courses, campcraft, or outdoor pursuits) or relevant certifications in specific CCA disciplines (e.g. uniformed groups, performing arts, sports) would be an advantage
