About this role
Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents and provide holistic risk assessment and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company. • Assist in the negotiation of investment contracts and agreements, and support in a variety of transactional and corporate governance initiatives. • Assist in liaising with regulatory bodies and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and licenses. • Navigate licensing requirements for digital assets related activities, such as digital payment services and digital assets management. • Monitor and interpret evolving regulations and guidelines in the crypto and blockchain space. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school in common law jurisdiction, admitted to the bar is highly preferred. • 1-4 years of experience in legal roles in reputable law firms with experience in Crypto and Web 3, financial services, investment, and/or asset management, in-house working experience is a plus. • Strong interests in digital assets space. Previous experience with digital asset management, digital payment token services, crypto exchange or blockchain startups and in-depth understanding of cryptocurrency technologies, blockchain, and related legal issues is highly preferred. • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. • Excellent communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulatory landscapes and provide proactive legal guidance. • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
