Manager (Liaison & Research) - 1 year contract

Job DescriptionThis is a contract role supporting the Liaison & Research (GLR) team. The role involves conducting research in assigned focus areas, including countering illegal gambling and promoting responsible gambling. The appointed individual will work with internal and external stakeholders to generate insights that support strategy development, policy discussions, and coordinated actions. Key Responsibilities• Plan and conduct research in assigned areas, including countering illegal gambling and fostering responsible gambling • Work with relevant stakeholders to coordinate research needs and facilitate data sharing, where applicable • Collate, analyse, and synthesise data from research and stakeholder inputs to support decision-making • Support the Counter Illegal Gambling Steering Committee (CIG SC), including coordination and/or presentations at half‑yearly meetings to share insights • Provide coverage for Deputy Director duties during periods of absence, as required Job Requirements• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in research, investigation, intelligence, policy, or related fields would be an advantage • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly • Ability to communicate information effectively through written reports, presentations, and discussions with stakeholders • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective working relationships • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications This is a 1-year Contract position under People Advantage(Certis Group).
