About this role
We are a group of companies operating across mental health, wellness and safety. Our training and course portfolio spans mental health and wellness programmes under our counselling and integrated health entities, safety courses under our emergency responder academy, and leadership and coaching programmes under our education hub. We are growing our training division and building for scale - developing new programmes, pursuing WSQ and government funding, and deepening corporate and institutional partnerships. We are looking for a commercially minded and operationally capable individual to drive this with us. The Role This is a business development and training operations role. You will be responsible for growing the training division (identifying opportunities, developing new courses and programmes, managing funding submissions, and building partnerships) while ensuring the operational backbone is in place to deliver consistently. You will work closely with leadership and have ownership over how the training division grows. This is not an execution-only role. We want someone who thinks commercially and can move independently. Responsibilities Business development & growth • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across the training portfolio • Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and government agencies • Source, evaluate, and onboard trainers and facilitators across course verticals • Support the preparation of proposals, tender submissions, and partnership documentation Funding & accreditation • Manage WSQ funding submissions and SSG/SkillsFuture-related processes end-to-end • Track funding deadlines, compliance requirements, and accreditation renewals • Identify and pursue relevant grants, funding schemes, and government support programmes Course & programme development • Work with subject matter experts and trainers to develop new courses and programme offerings • Coordinate programme launches from development through to delivery • Monitor market trends and identify gaps in the current training portfolio • Ensure programmes are aligned with industry needs, funding frameworks, and quality standards Training operations • Oversee the operational delivery of training programmes across entities • Track and report on programme performance, enrolment, and revenue metrics Who You Are • 5–8 years of experience in business development, training management, or a hybrid BD/ops role • Familiar with the Singapore training landscape. WSQ, SSG, and SkillsFuture funding processes are not new to you • A strong communicator who can represent the organisation credibly to external partners and clients • Self-directed and follows through without being chased • Comfortable working across multiple course verticals and stakeholder groups simultaneously • Experience in mental health, wellness, safety, or professional development training is advantageous Bonus points if you have • ACTA / DACE / DDDLP • Experience with WSQ/SSG courses • Existing network of trainers, corporate L&D contacts, or industry partners
