Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center network infrastructure. Configure and support Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies. Manage network routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, and MPLS. Administer firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and network security solutions. Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using network monitoring tools. Troubleshoot network incidents, outages, and performance issues within SLA requirements. Support cloud networking environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Perform network upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and infrastructure migrations. Implement network security best practices and compliance requirements. Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, technical documentation, and operational procedures. Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and cloud teams on network-related projects. ✅ Required Skills & Experience✔ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. ✔ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering. ✔ Strong knowledge of: • TCP/IP • DNS • DHCP • VLANs • VPN • BGP • OSPF • MPLS • QoS • SD-WAN ✔ Experience with enterprise firewalls: • Palo Alto • Fortinet • Cisco ASA / Firepower • Check Point ✔ Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent platforms. ✔ Knowledge of cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP. ✔ Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, or LogicMonitor. ✔ Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. ⭐ Preferred Certifications CCNA / CCNP Enterprise Palo Alto PCNSE Fortinet NSE Certification Aruba Certified Professional AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Azure Network Engineer Associate
