Network Engineer

Network Engineer (Enterprise IT Network Services Deployment & Security) Responsibilities • Provide project deployment for customers' Enterprise IT Network Services. • Work closely with Project Manager to fulfil project deliverables. • Able to perform the role of Project Lead for medium to mega size projects. • Preferably with basic knowledge and hands on experience in any of the following areas: • Design, planning, integration, implementation and validation LAN/WAN/WLAN: Cisco, Alcatel, Aruba routers and switches Network security solutions • Security appliances: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoints, Cisco IPS/IDS, Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass • Network monitoring: SolarWinds • Network appliances based: F5 LTM/GTM, A10 LTM • Build or migrate in Cloud infrastructure solutions • Troubleshooting and problem identification • Documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, support and preventive maintenance documentation • Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment. • Establish TAC cases with principal vendor in complex problem till resolved. Requirements • Preferably with Cisco certification (CCNP) • Experience with Cisco, Alcatel, F5 products & Firewall products • Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data and Security networking in implementation • Fast-paced environment • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Good communication and writing skills. • Strong customer service orientation • Able to work flexible hours especially during after-office hour scheduled maintenance windows.
