Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support the network infrastructure in Singapore. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and compliance of network services, while delivering end-to-end technical solutions across datacenter and hybrid cloud environments. The incumbent will play a key technical role in engineering, operations, and continuous improvement of network services supporting mission-critical financial applications in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and support network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, datacenter, cloud, and internet environments • Ensure network availability, performance, and capacity planning to meet SLA and business requirements • Troubleshoot network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures • Execute change, patching, and upgrade activities in accordance with change management processes • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Infrastructure, Security, Applications, Cloud teams) to deliver technical solutions • Support regulatory compliance (e.g. MAS TRM), audit reviews, and security hardening initiatives • Work with vendors and service providers for implementation, troubleshooting, and support • Support disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution activities • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives (e.g. scripting, infrastructure as code) Job Requirements: • 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or operations (CCIE preferred) • Strong expertise in network protocols, architectures, and technologies • Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including routing and switching (OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, VLAN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, and VXLAN • Hands-on experience with datacenter networking technologies (e.g. Cisco ACI, SD-WAN) • Familiarity with load balancing technologies (e.g. F5) • Experience with hybrid cloud networking (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), including connectivity and security design • Exposure to network automation (e.g. Python, Ansible, Terraform) is preferred • Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services (e.g. MAS TRM) To apply,simply click the "Apply" button or send your updated profile to recruit@percept-solutions.com  EA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
