Network Engineer (Temp)

RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for day-to-day network operations, covering network switch, firewall, WLC, AP, VPN, WAF and cloud networking, ensuring availability and continuity of services • Administer and manage network routing and authentication • Monitor network uptime and usage • Perform network maintenance and upgrades including patches, hot fixes and security updates • Perform scan on network/system logs for malicious activities • Work closely with cyber security operations, covering endpoint security, SIEM and cloud security • Liaise with 3rd party vendor and cross department for network/security projects • Participate on internal and external network/security audit • Maintain and update network inventory and diagram • Investigate and troubleshoot any network incident or vulnerability QUALIFICATIONS • Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in networking • Experience in administration and troubleshooting skill of: • Firewall • Switches • Wireless Controller • Access Point • NAC • WAF • Services: AAA, DNS, DHCP, MFA, backup tool, SNMP • Cloud networking • Hands-on experience on endpoint protection and SIEM • Knowledge in infrastructure network design. • Knowledge and/or experience in the following will be advantageous • Open-source technology • Automation • CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification will be advantageous • Strong technical & troubleshooting skills. • Strong documentation and organizational skills. • Independent worker with minimum supervision. • Good team player and process driven. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Candidates with no relevant experience are welcome to apply Please note that your application will be sent to and reviewed by the direct employer - YTL PowerSeraya Pte.
