Duration: Yearly Renewable Contract (Convertible) Working Location: AMK Working Hours: Monday to Friday (830am – 6pm) Salary range: Up to $5000 (Based on experience) Job Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues • Perform Level 2/Level 3 troubleshooting for network incidents and outages • Implement network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems • Support network architecture planning and scalability for future business needs • Manage network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates • Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and optimize services • Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network systems • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support when required Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related roles • Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent are preferred • Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP • Hands-on experience with enterprise network devices and technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, and Aruba Networks • Proven experience in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and implementing network security best practices • Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG Network Monitor, Nagios, and Zabbix • Experience with wireless networking technologies (WLAN, Wi-Fi standards) and troubleshooting • Exposure to cloud networking concepts on platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible will be an advantage • Experience with modern networking technologies such as SD-WAN, network virtualization, and Zero Trust architecture is a plus • Knowledge of data center networking, high availability design, and system resilience If you are interested, please submit your application here.
