Please visit www.tum-create.edu.sg for more information about TUMCREATE.  Job Summary This internship offers hands-on exposure to operations, communications and event management within a research and innovation environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, organise digital and physical assets, and support institutional initiatives and events. Time commitment We require an intern who is able to commit a minimum of 8 hours per week. Students who are able to commit full-time for a consecutive period of 6-months are also welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities • Assist with intellectual property (IP) correspondence and maintain orderly digital file management systems • Maintain and update contact database, including data clean-up and migration where required • Develop and organise administrative templates for researchers • Support communication asset inventory management, ensuring proper tracking and usage of physical (marketing) and digital (photo, video) assets • Develop and maintain a permanent Event Stationery Pack • Curate and maintain a list of recommended restaurants and event venues for internal use • Provide operational and administrative support for international conferences and other events, where required Key Competencies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Strong organisational and administrative skills • Attention to detail and accountability for your work • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced international research environment • Stakeholder awareness and professionalism to interact respectfully with colleagues while maintaining discretion and professional conduct • Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially excel Requirements • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a reputable university • Self-motivated quick learner and good team player • Able to work with deadlines and dynamic requirements • Preferably students with past relevant internship experience What We Offer • Hands-on exposure on the operations of an international research and innovation platform, contributing to real projects with tangible outcomes • Opportunities to work closely with researchers, operations and communications teams in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment • Practical experience across operations, communications and event support, providing a strong foundation for future roles in research administration, communications, policy, or programme management • Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals, with opportunities to learn how research initiatives are run behind the scenes • A supportive and inclusive workplace culture where initiative is encouraged, ideas are welcomed, and your contributions are recognised Application Please submit the following essential documents to hr@tum-create.edu.sg: • Cover letter • CV • University transcripts Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
